Did you miss the initial period for Bitcoin? Now’s your chance to make up for lost time – without leaving a big carbon footprint! As with Bitcoin, the more extensively the Lands are mined, the more complex the mining process becomes, making it more difficult to mine your Lands. In other words, early adopters will wind up with a lot more Lands.

Each Land is a 550x550m square identified by its GPS coordinates and divided into 100 zones, each 55x55 m in size. To acquire your Land, you’ll need to mine it like in the initial Bitcoin period.

Mining consists of finding the value which, when associated with the GPS coordinates and passed through a hash function, results in a certain required number of consecutive zeroes. To find this value (the “nonce”), you will “mine” each Land in 100 steps – each 550x550m zone must be mined independently. Once all 100 zones of your Land have been mined, the Land is yours and will be airdropped directly to you!

The number of CPU cycles is limited, and mining becomes more difficult with the number of Lands that are mined (as with Bitcoin), so early adopters will have a big advantage. Get in early and give your friends a leg up too! For those who fall just a few CPU cycles short of finishing their mining, CPU packs will be available on Opensea.

Each Land has three underground layers, with the rarest items found in the deepest layer.
Your job is to acquire your Land, explore its underground layers, extract its wealth, and make a profit – either by selling it or by investing your wealth in acquiring new Lands.

You can create your own in-game characters based on your existing NFTs. Depending on the value of your NFT, you can create different types of characters: Engineers, Advisors, Governors, Lords, Explorers and more. Your NFTs will help you to build your empire by exploring, building up, governing and expanding your territory!

You are the exclusive owner of the original NFT, and the NFT in LoM will be a representation of that original to which you own the rights.

Of course you can – and it’s in your interest to do so! The more Lands you own, the more wealth you’ll accumulate. You can also transfer resources from one Land to another to accelerate your growth!

The game currency is $MTL, which will be tradeable on major DEXs. As in any economy, your involvement in LoM will support your expansion and create wealth in the world of the game.

There are 3 main sources of earnings:

• In-game earnings: Through your in-game actions, you will create value and capture part of the In-Game Earnings reserves (20% of the total)
• Staking will be encouraged with attractive conditions to incentivise holding your $MTL (5% of the total)
• Treasure, which will be invested in valuable prizes (external and internal NFTs and real-world prizes – 15% of the total) and distributed to the most deserving players via quests.

We are selling a specific NFT that will allow you to acquire Lands! Without NFTs, you’ll have to wait for the end of the airdrop to acquire Lands.
